Increase Core Strength

Objective: To increase core strength and functional stability.

Technique: In pairs have one partner leaning forward while the other partner kneels in front and places his hands on his shoulders leaning the person to 30-40 degrees. The leaning partner stabilises himself while the supporter randomly releases support on either shoulder. Leaning person tries to stay rigid in their starting position and must attempt to come back to the starting position if they move forward.

Coaching Tips: Partner should try and surprise them by releasing different shoulders in random order and sequence. Work hard to lock hips and maintain good posture at all times.
